Highlights of the Nissan Exhibit at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show

Yokohama — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., will present various show cars at the upcoming 2009 Tokyo Motor Show, including “Leaf,” an electric vehicle (EV) which is slated for global launch and volume production in late 2010, “Land Glider,” an EV concept car, and “Qazana,” which is an entirely new type of compact sport crossover, which made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2009. Nissan will also showcase the new “Fuga,” Nissan's top-of-the-line sedan and the new mini MPV “Roox,” both to be launched later this year.

Nissan Releases All-New Global Van — NV200 Vanette

Tokyo — Nissan Motor Co.,Ltd.(NML) today announced the start of the pre-launch sales for the all-new NV200 van in Japan. Following its global debut at the 79th International Geneva Motor Show in March, Japan will be the first market to launch this next generation global van starting mid-May.

The compact NV200 Vanette will be offered in two configurations — the Van DX light commercial van and the Wagon 16S people carrier.

The NV200 Vanette* has been designed to meet the demands of a wide-range of customers for a functional and versatile vehicle that delivers great value-for-money. (more…)

Highlights of the Nissan Exhibit at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show

Tokyo — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., will present four show vehicles that incorporate new and exciting ideas for future models at the upcoming 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. The four concept cars include the “Pivo 2,” which presents a new connection between car and driver, with an “always enjoyable, everywhere convenient” state-of-mind; and “Round Box,” a youth-oriented compact convertible that provides occupants with a unique sensation of speed and exhilaration.

Nissan's Tokyo Motor Show exhibit is built around three message pillars that represent the company's direction: “Friendly Innovation,” “Passionate Driving” and “Emotive Design.” (more…)
