Honda's all-new Jazz is once again set to redefine the B-segment parameters of practicality and interior space. The 5-door hatchback will achieve class leading interior space and combined it with significantly improved fuel economy and 120 g/km CO2 emissions (1.4-liter i-SHIFT and 1.2-liter).

The exterior design is at first glance an evolution rather than a revolution, but this subtle change of appearance is only one small part of the thousands of changes that push the all-new Jazz forward. GE Invests in Electric Vehicle Producer Think and Battery Manufacturer A123Systems to Commercialize Electric Car

Geneva & Washington — (BUSINESS WIRE) — GE (NYSE: GE) announced it is ramping up its efforts to enable global electrification of transportation by investing in Norwegian electric car manufacturer Think, which unveiled a five-seat crossover concept car in Geneva today. To power its vehicles, Think has signed a commercial supply agreement with lithium-ion battery manufacturer A123Systems. GE is in a unique position to help both companies commercialize technology to make electric transportation practical and affordable.

Online Car Buying in the Third Millenium

DaimlerChrysler, Ford and GM have each sent dealers letters recently regarding their dealings with online sales outlets. Each has reminded dealers that franchise agreements do not allow dealers to sell cars to third parties for resale. What is unstated is that such deals will probably mean there is no valid factory warranty on vehicles sold by these third parties. They may technically be second-hand cars, even with very low delivery mileage. All three manufacturers make the point, however, that sites which act as a referral service, or presumably as an “agent,” for the dealer are fine. Since dealers will almost certainly be delivering and providing service for the cars they provide, there is, operationally, not a great difference between the business models.
